The “Toret” is one of the most recognizable symbols of our city, Turin. We took the opportunity to test NVIDIA Instant NeRFs to generate a photogrammetry of our beloved and characteristic fountain. For the realization of the photogrammetry we used 102 photos, shot around the fountain, to recreate an orbital dome around it. We used a Sony ILCE-7C camera with a 28mm lens and fixed exposure of 1/160sec and apertur f/9. A workstation equipped with an RTX 3080 was able to process the jpg images of 6000×4000 in aproximately 30 minutes.
